Longi Solar has launched a completely new series of PV modules and introduced the ‘hybrid passive reverse contact’ cell technology. The new Hi-MO series will initially be available in four different formats, primarily aimed at rooftop solar power plants.

Monocrystalline solar panel LR5-72HTH-585M is used in grid systems, hybrid or autonomous solar power plants. It has a power of 585W, which is a very high indicator for 2024. The efficiency factor of the solar panel is very high and is 22.6% when paired with an inverter, allowing it to be used effectively for profit at the “green tariff” or autonomous energy supply.

When creating the model, the best materials and components of the photovoltaic market were used. 144 high-quality silicon elements fixed in a composite alloy frame, 35mm thick, in 24 rows. Converting the energy of the sun into direct electric current with a maximum voltage of 44.21V and a power of 13.24A, they have a low level of heating, thus increasing the performance of each element. The surface of the panel is reliably protected by 3.2 mm tempered glass.

Solar battery was tested with hail size 25mm with wind speed of 23m/c. The structure can withstand snow load up to 5200Pa and wind load up to 2400Pa. Resistant to the effects of salty moisture, ammonia and dust, which is confirmed by independent testing.

The IP68 protection class of the device means that it is completely protected from dust penetration and withstands short-term immersion in water to a depth of 1 meter. Accidental contact of electric elements with a person is excluded.

The model is certified according to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 management systems. Compliance with industry standards IE61215, IE61730 ensures high quality and safety of the equipment. Independent confirmation of compliance was carried out by TUV Rheinland.

The device has standard dimensions of 2278x1134x35 mm and a light weight of 27.5 kg.

The manufacturer provides a 12-year warranty on the PV module parts and components. The warranty period for the preservation of linear output performance is 25 years, and at the end of this period, the panel power level is not less than 89.1%. That is, the degradation of the panel over 25 years of operation is only 11.1%.
